Moorschmied

Kitchen knife “Liv”

Moorschmied stands for 100% quality craftsmanship from Germany. The “Steen” steak knife is created as a unique piece in the forge of the family business Moorschmied. Part of the work is done by traditional manufacturers in the knife centre of Solingen. The blade with a hardness of 61 Rockwell is made of 320 layers of Damascus steel. The handle is made of high-quality stabilised wood. “Liv” comes in your kitchen in noble bog oak, in vivid drip honey on in fiery red beech. The handle is mounted with decorative rivets and has a hand-flattering tailored shape.

Each knife exists in its design only once and is therefore absolutely unique – as personal as a fingerprint.

The best knife steel microstructure does not tolerate chrome. Our knives are therefore rustable. Please follow the care instructions.
